The Oggy Run 2009

We set off from Smoky Joe's at Scorrier on an adventure with 19 other BMW minis. We turned a few heads passing through villages with our headlights beaming brightly. We ended up at St Ives and travelled on the train into the town - we even had time for an ice cream on the beach! Our son Matthew (7 months) had his first ever experience of sand much to his delight. The evening finished at a family's house from the New Mini Kernow club for a fish and chip supper and charity raffle. We won a huge Cornish hamper!

On the Sunday we started from Fraddon meeting for breakfast at McDonalds and travelling to Dartmoor and Princetown. The group of 18 Minis visited Dartmoor Prison Museum filling the car park completely! We moved onto Dartmeet via Haytor and finally ended up at Bovey Tracy for a Devon cream tea. All of the club were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a real modern MINI adventure and look forward to the next outing!
